Wall Street

Post by Dustin »

Don’t know what came over me except that this was $4.99 today so I bought and rewatched. It’s actually better than I remember it being. Maybe because I have a better understanding of the financial machinations than I used to. No idea what people ever saw in Daryl Hannah. Gordon / Michael is so iconic though. I love seeing the old tech as well. Sort of like watching the Wall Street version of The Conversation. Two thumbs up, ehhhhhhhhhh. Watch it again, you fucking scumbag cocksucker!

I really like Wolf of Wall Street and about 5 years ago I watched it and then went and re-watched a BUNCH of financial movies like Wall Street, Boiler Room, The Big Short and than spanned off into other "get rich quick gets out of hand" movies like Lord of War, War Dogs, etc. It was kind of an interesting "thematic playlist" of movies.

But yes, Wall Street is a classic.
