What’s Spinning?
Re: What’s Spinning?
One of my favorite metal bands, Allegaeon, released a new song “Driftwood” today. I was disappointed. Not sure what’s going on. Past 3 albums from this bunch I really liked. The last 2 songs, not so much.

Last night I spent some time listening to Marc Cohn. It had been a while since I checked out his stuff. It was enjoyable.
I have also liked many of the Atmos mixes on Apple Music. Roxy music Avalon is a really good remix.

I'm in a a few music leagues/review things, so I pretty much listen to what's given to me now. For example, today is "Best Guitar Solos" submitted by the group I'm in (which is a bunch of middle school teachers and me, I'm friends with the organizer and he invited me to play.) It's a playlist of:
The Hell Song - Sum 41
Them Shoes - Patrick Sweany
November Rain GnR
Hotel California - Eagles
Star Spangled Banner - Hendrix
Hot for Teacher - Van Halen
Crazy Train - Ozzy Osbourne
While My Guitar Gently Weeks - Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, Dhanie Harrison, Prince (my pick)
Sweet Child O' Mine - GnR
I'm also working my way through the 1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die via the 1001albumsgenerator.com. I got really sick last week so I'm a few albums behind but I'll be listening to these today:
Fire of Love - The Gun Club
A Girl Called Dusty - Dusty Springfield
Out of the Blue - ELO

Re: What’s Spinning?
Wow…. This is what I hoping for, but exceeded expectations. Thanks folks for replying.
Really appreciate the links and lists, things I have to dig out for. Delisted, leaning and adding new things, this is what this type of forum is for!
Not exactly spinning, it the 50th anniversary concert for SNL at Radio City (available to stream on Peacock) had some pretty epic moments. DEVO, Cher, Eddie Vedder covers Tom Petty, David Byrne, remaining members of nirvana fronted by Post Malone, and Jack White (with a cover of Neil Young, then classic white stripes) to name a few.
What’s spinning today?
Two White Stripes records, De Stijl and White Blood Cells. I’m feeling Fleet Foxes or Decemeberists later

The Notorious B.I.G. - Ready to Die

The XX - I See You
Fleetwood Mac - Rumors
These three were catchup from when I was sick a few weeks ago. I fell behind on my 1001 albums, but I'm caught up with Rumors being today's album.
