Sci-fi series on Apple where suddenly nearly all of the planet is taken over by a hive mind. A literal handful of humans are left with their own conscious after the takeover and the show follows one of them as she adjusts t o the changed world.
Wife and I watched it together and both REALLY enjoyed it.

Yeah I liked S1 also. Don't have any issues with the pacing. I also appreciate how little time Vince Gilligan spends on exposition, choosing to let events tell the story. This, as opposed to the second segment of Stranger Things S5 leading into the series finale, which was 3 episodes of non-stop explanation about what's happened, happening, or about to happen. Gosh it was not good.

We're through the first season of Pluribus and loved it. Ever since "Better Call Saul", I have been a big fan of Rhea Seehorn and her ability to project authenticity with her characters. The show continues with all of the Vince Gilligan traits, right from the opening shot. His cinematography adds so much to the storytelling.
Can hardly wait for the next season, but from what I'm reading it will be a while.

It is SO good (it really scratches a specific itch for me) and I'm devastated that S2 isn't slated until the END of 2027. I'm really confused why. The show is not heavily dependant on CGI. Maybe they're using it but they needn't. There isn't any reason the show can't be filmed exactly like Breaking Bad.

I can only assume Gilligan hasn't written it. I bet he has an idea where the story and characters are going.
