As many of you know, my setup priority is much more geared towards HT than stereo. I opted for an SVS/Denon setup in the new home. Prime Pinnacle L/R, Prime CC, and Prime Elevation surrounds with SB-3000 subs. TV is an 85" Samsung QLED and AVR is a Denon AVR-X3800H. Apple TV and XBox SeriesX are the primary sources. Comfort trumps performance.

Re: HT build
Congrats on your new home CJ!
Your setup reminds me a lot of my own system, happily chugging along after eight years (plus a TV upgrade about 3 years ago):

TV: Samsung - 85" Class QN85A Neo QLED 4K UHD
AVR: Marantz NR-SR7010
2-CH: Bob Latino VTA ST-120 (from kit)
External 2-ch S/S amp for 2 of the Atmos
BR Player: Oppo UDP-203
Streamer: Apple TV 4K
Media Player: Asus Chromebox 3-N017U running Kodi/LibreElec streaming music and concert films from Synology NAS (no Spotify for me)
Xfinity 4K DVR
Turntable: Technics SL-J92 Linear Tracking (not used much anymore)
Speakers: Elac Uni-Fi UF5 (R/L); UC5 (Center); Dual RSL Speedwoofer 10s; Atlantic Technology IW-155SR (L/R In-Wall Surrounds); RSL W-26 (rears); RSL C43E Atmos (4)
Red/White Wine Coolers
Yours is super clean...no wires to be seen. Where is your hardare hiding?
BTW, I think this post may be better listed in your Technology Section?

Re: HT build
I'd say they live up to their reputation of being pretty punchy, articulate but a little rolled off and warm, which is fine by me. The dialog is very clear in the time I've spent with the system. They image pretty well considering I have them positioned terribly. They are very much up against the front wall.DYohn wrote: Wed Jun 04, 2025 5:38 pm Very nice! How do the SVS mains compare to the various systems you've used in the past?
