Re: Quick movie reviews
Sinners. I resisted watching this because I generally do not like horror films and I heard Michael B. Jordan describe it as a vampire movie with gallons of blood. But last night the wife and I decided to try it, and we are very glad we did. This is so much more than a vampire movie. In fact it is ...

Re: Music-Related Readings
Just starting this one. After 80 pages I'm not sure how I'm going to avoid skimming. It's interesting, but the techno details aren't grabbing me as much as I'd hoped. So far, there is as much about LSD as the gear, maybe more. And TBH, I had to skip ahead and read the 12 or so pages about their 1973 ...

Re: Music-Related Readings
Just finished yet another book about the most important artists in my lifetime: The Beatles called John and Paul: A Love Story Told in Songs . This 2025 book was a Xmas gift from my wife and I'd not heard of it before. It takes an interesting perspective to show just how many of John and Paul's ...

Re: Pluribus
We're through the first season of Pluribus and loved it. Ever since "Better Call Saul", I have been a big fan of Rhea Seehorn and her ability to project authenticity with her characters. The show continues with all of the Vince Gilligan traits, right from the opening shot. His cinematography adds so ...

Re: How's everyone doing?
Hey CJ, it's good to find you back on bntr again! :P Thanks for your life update. It's amazing to read that your oldest is graduating college soon. Thinking back a forum or two I can recall your posts and pics of a very young girl hanging with her dad in the HT basement. The years are going by too ...

Re: 1000 Album Update
Hey @Chris S, look what I picked up (heavily) at my town library for $1. I plan to leaf through it a few at a time and will make a list of the pages I want to come back to when I'm looking for new tunes to enjoy. I'm betting I've listened to over 75% of these already.

Re: Humor
That is virually Supertramp's arc through their catalog, although the "new millenia" album never came to be.
