A new all-English modern-day remake of the Maigret television series is available on PBS Masterpiece. This is an excellent production, highly engaging, with Benjamin Wainwright as maybe the best version of the character yet produced. Three 2-part stories make up this season, and it is highly recommended viewing. We binged it all in two days on the PBS streaming app.
